Our dice already passed independent testing by Gaming Laboratories International. Now the World Backgammon Federation has reviewed the code behind every roll and certified it too. Both certifications are live on the Fair Dice page, and you can read the WBGF certificate there yourself.

There's a new download button in your match history. It saves any match as a .mat file, so you can keep your games, share them, or replay them move by move in your favorite analysis tool.

Some players bear off to the right, some to the left, and nobody has ever settled the debate. So we won't either. There's a new "Bear off right" toggle in settings, and you can flip it mid-game from the in-game menu too.

You now have a public player profile: your rating, your stats, and your recent matches in one place.
Names in your match history are clickable too, so you can size up the player you just faced the same way they can size you up.

Ever finish a good game and wonder how you stack up? Now you'll know.
What's new:
Ratings: Quick games are now ranked by default. Your first games calibrate your rating, then it appears on your profile with your skill band.
Rating changes: see how much your rating moved at the end of every ranked game.
Want to relax? Flip off the ranked toggle before you start.

When the race is on and every checker is home, you can let the game finish itself. Turn on Greedy bear off in the in-game menu and we'll bear off as many checkers as possible on every roll.
It's off by default, and you can switch back to manual play anytime.

Every backgammon player has stared at a pair of double sixes and wondered who the dice are working for. Now we can tell you: nobody.
Gaming Laboratories International, an independent testing lab, examined the random number generator behind every roll on Backgammon.com and certified it properly random. So the next time the dice betray you, at least you'll know it's nothing personal.
